Kazakhstan
Twelve nights based in Almaty with trips out to Charyn Canyon, Kolsai and Kaindy Lakes, Saty village, Turgen waterfalls and Big Almaty Lake. We also spent time around the city, with days at Shymbulak and Kok-Tobe, lunch at the Green Bazaar, drinks on Arbat and a visit to an ethno village with eagle hunters. Most of the trip was done using shared taxis, Yandex and local tours, with an apartment in Almaty as the main base.
